From east of Concord: Take Route 2 west towards Concord. At the light where Route 2 takes a left turn at a Mobil station as you are coming down a hill, take that left turn, staying on Route 2. Go though several lights, passing by Emerson Hospital on your left. At the next light, take a left turn on Main Street At the second light, you will come to a fork with The Ninety-Nine Restaurant in front of you, stay to the left, continuing on Main Street. Take a left turn on Pine Street at an intersection with a light and the West Concord Union Church on the far left. Take the second right on Pleasant Street, which turns into Prairie Street in the next block. Thoreau School will be on the left. From west of Concord: Get on Route 2 heading east. After staying on Route 2 at the rotary at Concord Prison, take a right on Main Street after coming up over the hill after the rotary. At the second light, you will come to a fork with The Ninety-Nine Restaurant in front of you, stay to the left, continuing on Main Street. Take a left turn on Pine Street at an intersection with a light and the West Concord Union Church on the far left. Take the second right on Pleasant Street, which turns into Prairie Street in the next block. Thoreau School will be on the left. From north or south of Concord: take Route 495, which runs north and south west of Concord, take the Route 2 exit and follow the directions for coming from west of Concord, or take Route 95 same as Rt 128, take the Route 2 exit and follow the directions from east of Concord.
